I bass fish out there 1-2x a week, but have only ever crappie fished from my dock. Thought I might give it a try. Area's I figure are good are the brush piles in the coves just around the big point moving to the south side of the lake, and the cove just to the west side of the main bridge on the south side. Also the bridges as I've gotten hung up enough on the branches people put under there. Am I on the right track. If you don't want to post spots, maybe PM me. I catch and release and won't be crappie fishing often. Just times I get asked to take out little kids and thought I'd have a few spots to take them to.

There is a ton of timber past the south bridge, but as far as bass I've never fished there much. Not sure if others go down that far and it they have success.

There are some corp piles correct and I know of where one was and the only thing that I can find are the chunks of concrete that held them down, the brush is gone (as well as the bouys). The other one that I know of is not a core pile and holds fish well. I plan on doing some work out there this winter to take care of that problem.

this brings up the question....trees that have been under water for many decades, such as Navarro Mills lake still has trees and it was impounded in the early 60s/ trees don't erode if they are under water?
