I am looking at getting a boat cover made for my 2009 Champion 206. Has anyone had any experiences with any shops in the DFW area that can make me a custom boat cover? I want it to be waterproof and I also want to be able to travel with the cover on the boat. I'm assuming Canvas would be best material? any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have been looking at James Propeller ... do they do a good job? reasonable price? what was turn around time?? were you happy with the cover? how has it held up over time?

Dallas Canvas did mine about a year ago. All pressure points have double fabric and fits like a glove. They have several price ranges but are a little pricy.

The actual fabric is a big factor in how long the cover will last. If just used occasionally most any brand/grade will do. If constant use in the sun get the best grade fabric with longest warranty you can afford. Dallas canvas did mine just under 3 years ago, excellent job, fit and craftmanship, but I didn't get to select fabric grade.

My boat sits outside, covered in the sun and now the cover fabric is sun damaged and is shredded in multiple places. Should have used top grade fabric for my situation.

I would think you could call the people in mountain home Arkansas and get one done they would still have the measurements needed. I think they made all the covers for champion

Nolan come to you makes a great cover. I would not buy a deans last one I got wear a disappointing

I know the original deans owners sold and had no compete clause but that has since passed they are now operating again. Different company of course.

Thanks for the Recommendations I will look into them. I have an Auora cover now, I just don't care for the fit of it. Would like something a little more custom.
