Depends on how deep I am fishing. Less than 10', 3/16th to 1/4 oz. 10-20' 3/8s to 1/2. Over 20', 5/8ths to 3/4. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

1/4 on a worm or baby brush hog

Less than 10 fow; light or no vegetative cover, I'm probably not using a Trig.
I'd be more likely to use a 1/4oz shaky head

Less than 10fow thick brush or thicker vegetation, I'll use a 3/8 to 1/2oz weight depending on the wind.

3/8th or 1/2 for flipping/pitching
