 Where to fish Monday

My dad and I are thinking about doing some fun fishing next Monday. Looking at the weather seems a cold front will hit on Sunday. That being the case what lake, about 1-2 hours from Dallas, do you think would be a good one to go to. There is always Athens, but thinking about going to a new lake. Thoughts? Opinions? Thanks guys.

Never fished there. How is it? Haven't got a bite in the last 3 trips, I caught a bass there in the summer though, so I would assume if he's still in there you might be able to snag him also. About a 1 pounder, he hangs out on the east corner of the dam. I named him Tony, so say hi if you snag him
There are no fish in sonic pond EDIT: Except 1 20lb catfish

Never fished there. How is it? It is tough for me usually, but it kicks out decent quality fish! Two words: Railroad Tressel... Fishes similar to Hubbard, I think (rocks rocks rocks) but has some distinct features that make it different. Mostly related to the lake's history of raising the dam.

Never fished there. How is it? Lavon fishes pretty big and you can usually catch fish the way you like fishing most of the time. If you have the chance to fish during the week it's wide open and you can fish a lot of the "community holes" without many, if any, boats to contend with on the same spots.
