I just got around to getting one of these. Holy cow, that is some impressive technology.
To me it is the most significant development since GPS.

It's been called a "game changer". I don't mind fishing by myself since I got mine. I like to put it on spot lock when I'm around a bunch of boats and watch their smirk. 
I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

I like being able to sit on the seat on the back deck of my fx21 and fish and troll around while fishing. I get some weird looks.. lol

I don't have the Ultrex. I have the Ulterra and I must say I wish I had bought it earlier as I love the thing.

Agree, I went to a terrova last year and found myself fishing 10-11 hours first few times out, I used to make it until about noon as it always gets windy around 830...

Love it. Fishing a point that the wind is blowing into. Set spot lock partner and I were fishing off the back deck. That gave us 2 baits in the right spot to catch them. Helped us place in the tournament with out it who knows.
