Does anyone remember the guy in the late 80s are early 90s that was catching 8lb. bass plus and cutting and installing a tracking device inside and stitching it back up? He said he was doing this to research the seasonal and daily effect of a large bass. He documented his records and was going to write a book I believe and share his data with TPW. I actually saw a fishing show on tv when he took someone out with him and they located 1 of the monitored fish and caught it on a jig and pig and measured, weighed, and released.

John Hope also put out a video I believe called "The Lost Bass" that I used to have and watched over and over.
He came to one of our Century Bass Club meetings many years ago and we had a real casual question and answer program that was really great and informative.

John's book is great. Last I saw him I encouraged him to put out an updated version. He said he was kicking around the idea. That was probably nearly three years ago though.
