Any help would be greatly appreciated. My Fortrex button is sticking from time to time, not sure what caused that or needs to be fixed?
Thank You
Brian

Lake Side Trolling Motors at Lake Fork They have helped me on two occasions. Quick fix one time and had to wait a few hours the last time. Fished off the bank at the park on 154 until they called me. They did great work for me.

Brian Sounds like the spring is gone or about gone. I'd call or take it by Sartin Marine in Alba. They have all the parts in stock.

What RTM says here. I have went to Greg at the trolling motor shop for over 16 years. Now his son Tommy has taken over since Greg retired. Tommy is a retired master electrician. He knows as much as Greg does and can fix anything. Which they can do, where a lot of shops just order you new stuff. He actually diagnoses the problem, not just a part changer. They can also install new trolling motors and electronics that you can order and they get fairly quickly. And their prices are competitive with the BPS's.

Had same thing happen to mine in a tournament on Palestine I went to Lowes and got a little box of assorted springs, found one that was right size and was back in business. The shops at Fork are both great to deal with if you are up that way. If you are looking for around here locally, you might give Andrew a call at Nautical Mile Marine.
