Fishing on Lavon has been kinda crazy. First you have mega wind, then no wind, then Lightning, then mega rain.. Well when we can we keep on fishing! Even some of the girls will brave the weather an get a new personal best! We caught a lot of eaters past few days, big fish was 20lbs, it did go back to be caught when it gets bigger. Most every thing we caught was drifting in 20 to 33ftw. Fishing Lavon was slow to begin with this weekend, We caught really great bait so we were exited with our chances to get a monster! First hour we fished not even a bite, but they turned on and we ended up a great day. Biggest was barely 20, a couple teenagers an a cooler of eaters, so all in all a good weekend. Tawakoni was slow yesterday, absolutely no wind. We power drifted and got some nice eaters an tagged one at 19.4 to fight again. We released all fish. lets go get a big one!

Saturday started out like a great day. 20 minutes later the rain was pouring. We get to the far back timber, about 10 mile from ramp it seemed like and found a stranded guy in a pontoon. He was glad to see us, wouldn't have been anyone back there for a long time. We gladly towed him back in, always need some good karma! Went back out and tied up a couple times over big fish according to hummingbird, nada. Went to drift and caught a nice load of eaters as well as 2 over 20lbs. Drifted in 14 to 20 ftw. Cut shad chunks and fillets. The fish are active you just have to find them. I have open dates, call to book.

All I remember is out of the Mist came a boat surrounded with a brilliant light and driving is was a big Grey bearded Angel.

According to The Corps all ramps are closed on Lake Lavon

Past few days on Hubbard have been awesome! To many eaters to count, a ton of teenagers ( 13-19 lbs ) and several 20 to 25 lb fish. One day alone we caught 30 fish for a total of 268 lbs!! We have been drifting in 13 to 17 ftw. with cut shad and some chunk carp. The blues are moving well and they will get bigger and bigger. Call to book a trip

Dusty I plan on booking another trip with you. As you probably remember I did once and proceeded to chum for you when we got to the first fishing location. I was seriously sick with it pouring from both ends. I apologize for that and appreciate you taking me back to the Marina. I guess a catfish guide can smell too much?
