I've been looking at a number of 18-22ft center console boats. I mainly will use them in the Dallas Lakes, however going to the coast 2-3x yr will also happen. I've only owned a few boats so any feedback would be appreciated. I'm certainly concerned with the hull structure, engine cost of repairs and gas mileage. Here is a list I've been reviewing but have no CLUE ! Kenner, Mako, Fish Master, Sea Pro, Sea Hunt, Triton, Haynie, Trophy, Bluewave.

Im running a a Nautic Star 2200, has lots of features with a 200 Yamaha 4 stroke. Great boat Great motor. I run about 48mph, sometimes wish I had the 250 hp. The boat handle well in rough water and rides well. Theres my 2 cents!

Hello Sharc, I am thinking of getting the same boat. What size trolling motor did you get? I have been told that the 82 lb was strong enough. Where did you buy yours?

Pathfinder 2200V w/ VMAX 200 HPDI. Also have a Riptide 80# ST w/ CP/AP.
Very best quality boat on the market. Will compare with any center console. Not a cheap rig. Quality.

yamaha 4 stroke motor is the way to go
