Hey all,

Just caught this one about 20 minutes ago in front of my house on the lake (Lake Ontario) on a Blue Fox spoon. Something up with the brands of spoons ya use. Little Cleos won't catch a thing for me, but it seems as soon as I pick up a Blue Fox Strobe, I catch one within 10 minutes. It still is a bit challenging on shore with 1-2 foot waves comin' atcha grin

Now I got to wash out my slimy shirt cry

Tight lines,
Mike.

Thanks John.

We have garter snakes and northern water snakes, both of which are non-poisonous. The northern water snakes (usually 2-3 feet long) are quite common around here and usually find one right near where I'm fishing almost every trip in the summer grin. They do have an anticoagulant in their saliva though. I'm sure there are more, but I've only seen these two types around here.

Funny,
When I go to the White River in Arkansas, the Little Cleo kills them and the Blue Fox does not do much.

must be tough

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
