bought a boat a few weeks ago that had one of Lake Fork Fiberglass Gator Hulls installed on it. well not sure what happened but I got a hole in the back of the boat. not sure if I kicked something up on the highway or hit something hard that I didn't notice. I had called Mike at Lake Fork Fiberglass just after I bought the boat to verify that he did the install which he did and he told me that if I had any problems with the hull to bring it back and he would fix it. so guess ill be making a trip here soon to TX.
was just curious if any of you have had work done there and what you thought of it. its a 8 hour drive one way for me so just trying to get all info I can

I would call Mike and make an appointment before you drive that far and see how his schedule is. He's very good at what he does and stays pretty busy.

My dad had them do a gator hull treatment on his boat 6 years ago and he's had no problem since.

I'm on my second gator hull on two boats. No problems. He also did some mighty fine fiberglass repair on the first boat.
At Fork if you fish where the fish live you get scrapes and holes. My last problem was caused by a T post.

The hole looks almost like a puncture from a screw or nail. hard to tell really. I'm gonna call Mike today and talk to him and see if I can bring it down after the first part of the year and just drop it off and when its done ill probably stay for a few days after picking it up to fish Fork. always wanted to fish it so guess then would be the time to do it.

My boat had one on it when I got it. Mike honored his word and fixed a small place while I waited, but Id called and set a time so he was expecting me.
