I like the MLF format when on "surprise" lakes the anglers dont know they are going to and a 5 fish limit on the regular scheduled tournaments. Regardless I really like the idea of weighing all fish in the boat and only bringing 1 toad to weigh in.

I like what MLF is doing with the catch weigh release and with zero info before they hit the parking lot. I do not like the total weight scenario. Keep everything they got but yeah go best 5. Make it to where if a guy happens on some schoolers he doesnt blow everyone else out of the water just due to luck. Give them a 14" length limit best 5 at end of day wins. As it is now I cant watch MLF most of the time. I get reaoly bored by it with these 1lbers. Just some small tweaks I'd like but I'm a nobody so my opinion is just that just an opinion.

I'm not surprised at the results at all. MLF is the best fishing show on TV period because its mostly non-stop fish catching action. I also hate the dink fest some of them are but that's mostly due to lake choice and time of year and not the fact they are trying to catch 1# fish. With this actually being a full circuit, I think they will schedule accordingly and we will see some amazing stuff. Think about having an MLF format on the St. Lawrence in July/August. That would be AWESOME!

I like the MLF TV format and would institute the following changes.

*Weigh every fish and release them immediately but do not post the weight on the TV screen.

*Do not keep a running total / leader board posted on the TV. That keep the intrigue of not knowing beforehand who has won.

*Bring one Big Bass to weigh in.

*Top 5 fish weight for the standings.

*In case of tie the next 5 fish they caught would determine the winner.

*In case of tie again the Biggest bass they caught would be the tie-breaker.

Show the anglers live fishing and mute anyone screaming about a "Giant" fish when it weighs 1 to 1.5 lbs! hammer

I feel like this pole would be different if it was done before all this new stuff.

It could be skewed a little for sure but fun to see based on what's transpired and there's certainly more to come from all three Tours. Crazy.

Why not combine the two formats? Have a mix of both. . .at one venue it's a 5 fish format and at the next venue it's a MLF type format. That way the Angler of the Year has to be successful under each format type. Also, I agree with getting rid of all the weigh-in fake hype, screaming MC, music, corny nicknames etc., and instead focus more time live on the water. I really enjoy Bassmaster Live - good stuff.

I like a mix of the two you need to redo the poll and have that option.

MLF format by a large amount.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

MLF, but the announcers need to go! Especially the squinty eyed dude with zero personality! It like the sun is always in his face? LOL. He was bad when he did supercross.

bass and flw feature a few of the many anglers on the water on camera. And then it follows to the weighin of the top contenders.

MLF puts you in the boat with all of the anglers, what they are doing, with what and sometimes explains the techniques. And then follows that up with a whole show explaining what the winners did to catch their fish.

To an angler like me it is more interesting. OK they catch a lot of smaller fish. It depends on the fishery. Their concept could go to lake that is known for bigger fish and have on occasion.

Sorry because I love fishing, but fishing is a fringe sport. it will never be a big time tv sport. espn tried it a few years ago. the hard core fishermen will always watch but that's not enough to sustain the "big" tv money.
