Gerald Swindle says it is... that's about all I know.

Personally, I wouldn't pay the money for one.

I'm still using the original Phenix vibrating jigs that I bought in 2011 when they were being discontinued due to patent infringement. I sort of panicked and bought as many as I could find at the time.

Give me a try. I build a Baby Doll Chatter that is not pretty. It is not going to fail you. There is no split ring or Snap. There will be some questions for you before I build it.

They are hard to find, Tackle Warehouse is sold out of every size in every color. I checked a few other places and they are sold out too. I like them.

The new Booyah chatterbait is the real deal. The Jackhammer still hangs up way too much.

I like the elites but like the jackhammer even more in fairness they fish differently for me so some days the elite catches better sometimes the jackhammer. Worth the $20 thats up to you

The jackhammer seems to hunt more / has more erratic action. However, I am not sure it catches them 4x than the original. I dont care for the elite version. Seems to blow out and ride high.

I think the Chatterbait custom from Tackle Warehouse is the best value. Upgraded components for $7.
