My Wife wants to go catch some sand bass. Is this the time of year to catch them on Tawakoni or was this just a special day?

It was on Sunday but you would not have wanted to out there in a bass boat. At least not early. It was blowing out of the north in Rockwall about 8-10 but I swear it was 15 on Twok. A 15 mph north wind on that lake can produce some big swells especially down around Holiday. I did not see a bass boat all morning on the south end. Fish were surfacing mainly sandies with an occasional hybrid. Fish are on the move. Lots of gulls.
