Looking for mechanic recommendation in DFW area (I'm in Arlington but surrounding area is fine).

Winter of 2016 I restored a 1987 Champion 176 with a Johnson 110.

New Impeller, carbs serviced, and replace cracked VRO with regular fuel pump.

Boat has run like a champ (pun intended) ever since June 2017 when I put it on the water first time.

Took it out last part of April, all worked fine. Next trip, motor starts and idles fine but will not go over 3000 rpm.

Had a mobile mechanic look at it earlier this summer, was missing a screw in the fuel pump so it was sucking air. Fixed that, plugs changed for good measure but I am still facing a problem maybe fuel pump related or something else.

I can't get a response from the last guy that looked at it and the original mechanic that did the service work early 2017 is no longer doing service.

I will soon be traveling for 3 weeks and would like to get my champ into the hands of someone to get her back to speed while I am away.
