I havent had a chance to get out in over 6 weeks. I was going to try and get out tomorrow morning.

Went out yesterday and got into 40 plus White Bass and small Hybrids and 3 nice 7-10 lb Hybrids. Poverty point at 10-12 foot just 20 yards from the t-post you can see at the point. Very shallow for water at 82 degrees. I put the big ones back in quick because they tend to die in this heat. Bill Dance mirror side fat shad.

Thanks Timmy, youre cartoon is so true. Ive been working a lot and havent had the time to get out on the water. As always I appreciate your post and photos. The cartoons are always a bonus.

Fishing has been slow for me lately as far as hybrids go. The last few weeks the northern part of poverty point is the only reliable place to at least put sandbass in the boat. Every once in a while they will school good enough to where slabbing can be super effective. Im ready for some cooler weather!!!
