Yes, Hybrids are still elusive unless mid sized live bait is available. 3-4 inch Giz or Thread fin.35-40 FOW . Sandbass are easy to find mid lake. Silver slabs with chartreuse/pink flies tied above produce .

Lots of Sandies surfacing mid-lake in mornings/evenings. Some small H-brids mixed in so watch for them. Bait is tough to find. Wish they would turn the aerators on. Fish seem to be feeding on new hatch of shad that's about inch and a half long.

Cork and jig the sandies, cuz they are small. Bigger ones are below, slab them. Be sure and check tooth patches. Garden Warden will if you don't .
