Boycott Media Bass! Gordon is wrong in every way and his "response" was simply lip service and insultingly lame. You own Media Bass. You own this situation, like it or not Gordy. Horrible ethics on display here.

Media has been around for over 20years. You don't stay in business that long by screwing people over. Gordon will make good on this just like he always has in the past. All this piling on by keyboard cowboys just makes things worse than it needs to be IMO. Everyone just needs to take a chill pill and figure out how to catch a fish in 90 degree water.

The only way to stop the keyboard cowboys is make everyone use their real name. That
will not happen on this forum.

I was introduced to tournament bass fishing through my step dad in one of Gordon's divisions several years ago. I will continue to fish Media as I believe one idiot (the individual writing bad check) is not the norm with Media. I KNOW Gordon is a great guy and will end up doing the right thing WHEN HE IS ABLE. I could be wrong here and I'm sure I will get corrected if I am but I would think Gordon would have told the individual that was given the bad check everything he could have to make him understand that the problem will be resolved in due time. I know that's not what you want to hear when you won a tournament and would like the winnings but sometimes certain processes suck. With that said, why would that person feel the need to start this entire thread if he would have been given the impression that it would be fixed in due time? Why start up all of the �negative publicity�?

This post and the other post about Media are just sad for this forum. What happened to innocent until proven guilty. I'm not a huge fan of Gordon, but I won't crucify him for something that I don't know ALL the facts of. One thing I believe is that Gordon is not a liar, therefore if he say's he needs to stand down for legals reasons, then I would believe that.

No one on this forum knows for certain the real truth except for the winners that have been ripped off by the TD and probably Gordon, and I bet he does not know the entire truth himself. Not yet anyway.

I bet this has caused Gordon a lot of sleepless nights.

As for this thread and the others on this same topic, it is why I usually just lurk on this forum and post very little anymore. When I joined this forum it was a much different place to talk fishing. This [censored] wasn't posted until the legal system ran it's course.

I'm am totally embarrassed by the comments on here. So many bashing Media when they don't know Gordon. And dont seem to be able to comprehend that he said he cannot do anything as told by his lawyer. My God. Is everyone here a lawyer. Has anyone had this happen to them. The answer is no, but the bashing continues. Members from out of state are commenting. And members with 3 and 4 post. The keyboard warriors are just that. A bunch of hacks that are joining the piling on. A poster on here that wrote another member a hot check even bashed Gordon. The good thing is Media will continue just like it always has. Me personally I would not want the posters making these stupid comments fishing my tournament if I had one. There is so much more I want to say. But I respect JP an the TFF to much. People often ask me why I dont have but 3 or 4 friends. This is the reason right here. Finding real men that are genuine is getting harder and harder every day.

The man that does all the gravel work out here in the sticks is a rough 'ol fella. He is very dependable. The first time I met him he told me if you write me a heater.... I will burn your house to the ground. From all the "he is a good man" people. I doubt it. It has been months. Should have made it right long ago. Luckily for these folks my gravel man doesn't fish Media.
