Mainly fish lake Whitney and Granbury did some scouting today on Granbury from the damn to sandy beach. Nothing bunched up together mainly 18ft and up is where they were located. My question is what is the striper pattern like year round? Fished Whitney in June closer to the end and limited out on stripers 4 days in a row went last week and they were scattered was not sure if the fish are moving constantly this time are. Or if anyone has a good link I can read about fish patterns would greatly appreciate it.

Was out there Monday. They were scattered on the north side of the bridge. Did find top water action in front of McCowen till the front moved in around 10:30 The feeding fish are moving pretty quick, also marked big groups of inactive fish during the middle part of day.

These fish were very active and feeding on top at one time

Update trolling is not working this time of year. Spooks for top water action we came across fish schooling from the island and the state park in 30ft of water. Marked fish in 40ft but never got a bit on live bait, lines were dropped between 20 to 35 ft could not get these suspended fish to bit. We were head back to the ramp on the state park side came across more schooling stripers at 9:30 spooks again then after they stop just follow them on your graph and you can pick one or two up. Limited out quickly threw a ton back. Hope this helps shad were easy to catch right off the boat dock and shallow
