Don't ask to use my fishing rods or any of my tools. Neither are loaners. I do have spare rods that I would let a select few use but not any of the rods I use. I have very good equipment and I am very particular about it.

I always have a couple rods in the boat I'm not too particular about. 200 dollar setup etc... I'll let buddies use those if need be. I will also let a buddy use my pliers no questions asked. Life is too short to get overly worked up about things. It's fishing.

are you implying that I have multiple frog rods?

Same here

I agree also. My tournament partner is a good friend and is welcome to use any of my stuff. If a rod was broken, I would not ask to pay. Sometimes rods just break and could have just as easily broke while I was using it.

When I fish with buddies, it's known that we can use each others stuff. But we usually bring enough of our own stuff that it rarely happens.

Fishing with co-anglers- I've never come into a situation where they needed to use any of my rods. And same with tackle but if I hear them say how they just broke off their last of a certain bait, I'll let them know they can look through my tackle if they want

If you own any Steez reels do not let your partner throw it. Its an automatic backlash.

If you are welcome on my boat you are welcome to use anything on my boat.

Most that have not used bait casters are intimidated by them. I prefer to help them learn how to use them than to constantly go unsnag their lures because they have no distance control with the spin casters.

There are 2 guys who know they are allowed to touch my stuff... And I can use thier stuff too

Baits are different... Especially plastics, if it's working get after it

Other than that, unless I TELL you to pick it up

You can tell by this thread who are laid back and who are c*cky pr*cks. Any one in my boat can use anything. And stand right next to me on the front deck all day long.
