Have a 21ft bass boat I tow a lot with my 2016 Ram 1500 4wd w/hemi. I want to put leveling kit on it and curious how it will look/perform when towing my boat.
Anyone have a similar type set up?

Your headlights will shine high. I put 1.5 inch blocks on rear of my chevy to restore the factory rake after leveling kit.

I leveled my Chevy. If you adjust the lights after you level it then you should have minimal effect. The light will be slightly higher but not much worse than current state. If you dont adjust the lights post lift your lights will be way too high with the back of your truck squatted.

Depends on how much your boat squats your truck.... I wouldnt think a bass boat would squat a hemi all that bad.. I wouldnt sweat it... worse case scenario you have to adjust your lights or run stiffer shocks..

Id be more concerned about the truck actually being able to pull the boat.

If you re-aim your headlight like you should after leveling they will shine no higher than if the truck was never leveled. My truck drives no different than stock with or without the boat.

I was going to make a crack about how my Ford F150 does not "sag" in the back when I hook my boat up, but I won't. But it may be that your tongue weight is too high. Usually you can adjust and shift your boat cradle position on the trailer to set the tongue weight to be : "The recommended trailer tongue weight for boat trailers falls within a range of 5 percent to 7 percent of the total weight of trailer, boat, motor, fuel and gear. Single axel models perform best at 6 percent while dual axel trailers perform best at 5 percent.Jun 21, 2013" So if your bass boat and gear are around 3000 lbs., the tongue weight should be 210 lbs. max. Will 210 pounds make your truck sag in the rear?

I've never measured it but my 20 TRX Triton has to be 350 to 400 pounds at the tongue. Trailer isn't adjustable.

Used to be 10% so about 300 for mine. If the Bow roller post is fixed then yes, the factory probably already figured it in.

I honestly would not think you would need a leveling kit for just pulling a bass boat. I have Firestone airbags on my F250, but I pull a fifth wheel trailer and a 30 foot gooseneck. When I have the boat, I only have the minimum 5 psi in the airbags. I had a 16 foot lowboy trailer with a green cord of firewood on it today and I only had 20 pounds in the bags. The bags will make it ride a little rougher even when they are inflated to the minimum five psi, but theyre really nice when you need them.
