Having a problem with racoons raiding my bird feeders.
Saw live traps on sale at Rural King. I don’t think they are in Texas.
Trap works fine. Loaded it with marshmallows as suggested. Got one this AM....now I discover the Chinese failed to consider one feature....safe release of the captive. There should be a way to release the critter without having your hands inches away from the angry critter.

Don’t you live near a lake or river? Tie a rope to the trap. Toss trap in lake for 10 minutes. Pull trap up and dispose of carcass. Just make sure it’s the animal you are after. My buddy accidentally killed a house cat one time using this method. The cat had a collar on. Oops.
