The lake is down about 1 1/2'. It's pretty slow unless you know where to find them offshore. Most of the good fish are going to be deep around the main lake area. Where do you plan to put in? You should be able pick up some bites on a C-Rig off points and humps.

If you want to fish shallow you can pick up a few flippin a creature bait around. Spinnerbait will catch some fish too. There are small schools of shad starting to show up in some creeks. Majority of the shallow fish are small. But, it's better than nothing.

Was out there last Sunday and I threw a walking topwater bait 2/3 the length of the dam. My arm almost fell off and it was worth one small keeper. Went off shore later in the day and broke off a giant. Should have been out there all day.

Fished last Thursday - Friday and it was slow... I hit my usual spots and grinded it out for less than a handful of fish both days. Now I was offshore the whole time looking for the one good one.. Boy did it get windy Friday about noon!

Thanks for the info. Definitely going offshore to catch a C-Rig bite in which was the original plan. Probably dropping @ Jordan.

Seems to turn on around mid October when the bait is really back in the creeks and the bass have really started to migrate back there and set up in predictable fall areas

Thanking the lord for another day on the water

whip my [censored] - Tried it all.. finally started sticking some small hand size bass with a shakey around boat ramps ;(

Trying again tomorrow morning (I don't know why but I guess it's the logical reasoning us bass fishermen do when getting skunked).

A bit different today.. We caught 4 total in the boat, 2 misses which would of been good fish with 1 being a break off mid fight barf

Below was the kicker for the day & didn't have the scale on board so no weight.. I would guess she was every bit of 7.5
