Looked on here and couldnt find anything. Is this place closed? Seems that every time Ive driven by the last few months it hasnt been open. They had crazy hours any way.

He does a lot of production based baits that are made in runs.. he has a very strong business people are paying 300 a lure and he cant make them fast enough..

Interesting. Always found it curious it didnt open until 11 AM. Would have thought being open for one of the biggest tournaments that comes thru there in Sealy might be beneficial.

Y'all are right his skills are in demand. On 4-4 this year with James Caldemeyer I had 5 for 33-11 on 3:16 baits. They work. Just hard to get in his store.

Their mail order has always been great for me, quick shipping and the orders have always been correct. IMO, best swimbaits out there....

That's on the low end from the ones I've held.. James (Caldameyer) had a glide bait from Mickey at the grand opening of Lake Fork Resort that went for $500. It was pretty, but, I can't justify that much for a bait...

Me and a buddy fished his first swimbait tournament 2 years ago, and people flew in from all over to get some of his glides. He sold about $30k worth of baits in a couple hours. His glides are very high demand.

I still its a very curious business move, building a store front then never opening it, I drive by it all the time its literally never open. I can always get Smashtech swimbaits in stores out there.
