Holy smokes non punctuation man! Main lake points. 14'-30'. There are plenty of deep tank dams out there too. Get out your Navionics and look around. You'll see em. CR, watermelon red has always been good for me on that lake. Brush hogs or I really like to use the little zoom centipedes when they're deep. Jigs and flutter spoons work well on the old road beds. Try to feel the hard bottom. When all else fails drop shot the bridge pilings. Good luck. Now get out that ol English book and watch your run on sentences!

.....or you can ask the other guys at weigh in where they caught them. Lol. Also, I wouldn't donate money in the Wednesday night tourney until you actually have fished the lake successfully for a while.

Went last night and got 6 in 2.5 hours. Smaller ones in 15 fow and got 2 in the 2-3 lb range (missed another at the boat) in more the 20-20 fow range. Caught them all on drop shot around structure. Didn't get bit on a Carolina or T-rig. I think you can still go coves in the early AM with a t-rig around trees at drop offs, but they move out pretty quickly. You can Carolina rig or deep crank the rocks at the dam in early AM as well. Guy next to me got a 6 on a 10XD a few weeks back. I haven't caught anything bigger than 6.5 at the lake, so I don't know all the spots. Still learning like you. I don't use my graphs enough, but I should. If you ever want to go out, PM me. My boats at Lynn Creek. I'm probably going tonight around 6:00. I have a bad back and 2.5 hours is about all I can do if I'm driving the trolling motor. I fish that lake much better in the spring and fall.

my advice is to go fish the lake and get your own holes. If you were fun fishing, I'd give you some spots. But, your trying to take guys money without putting in the effort.

A "Good location" could easily be considered a spot.

5X3, I'm on a lot of different forums and there's always that one guy that has to be "that way". Don't take is personal, it's just part of it. Honestly, the best thing to do is get out there with no rods, no tackle and ride around and mark waypoints. JP is a structure lake and the only way to find is to go looking. When it first opened in the 90's we fished the flooded timber and the banks and it was easy. All of that is long gone and it's now about offshore fishing. Good luck and fill that tank....
