(Not a candy eater, don't like any kind of sweets)

Got a Jelly Belly popup ad on the computer, made me wonder: do jelly beans taste like their supposed flavors?

Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

They taste like ultra high sugar versions of their supposed flavors with a chemical kick.

I use the buttered popcorn flavored ones for off-flavor beer training. Just like your microwave buttered popcorn, the butter flavor comes from a chemical...diacetyl. If you get a draft beer that tastes like that, you got a beer from a dirty, infected draft line.

Yes they do. I girl I work with always keeps a jar on her desk for everyone to eat on. there's probably 30 different flavors or so. I like the fruity flavors. Not so big on the buttered popcorn, coffee, and all those flavors

She has the jar of them that they come in with pictures of each one and what flavor they are. I usually shake a few out into my hand. I doubt other people are dipping their hands into the jar but it wouldn't surprise me. Wouldn;t bother me as much as it would some people around here lol

Nah - they don't provide a favorable environment for bacteria.

They have a thin candy shell. Surprised you didn't know that.
