Just got back into wacky rigging sticks and started with a 2.75" stick and light ball head jig. Worked great for pan fish and small bass, but now want to go back to using 4" or 5" sticks. Just not sure the best hook to use since I was never crazy using the octopus hook in the first place.

I have never felt like the weedless hooks make much difference

I also use this type of hook for dropshotting, either nose hooked or wacky.

Best one i have used is the vmc weighted wacky head. It has the best hookup ratio for me and somehow stays out of the sticks for the most part. I have fished it in some of the thickest of cover.
