Has anyone heard if they've gotten started on clearing it out? Heard they were suppose to start sometime this year.

Not that I have heard. A friend of a friend went down last weekend and ended up spending all week at the bayou.....parked his boat on the wrong side, tide went out, spent a week. He didnt say anything about dredging.

I was in Rockport on the 14th and 15th of April. When we left out we flew over Cedar Bayou and I believe I saw the boat you are talking about. It looked like it was about 20 yards or so from the water, high and dry!

Cedar Bayou does need to be dredged. It is starting to silt in again. Maybe mother nature will open the bayou if they won't dredge it.
