No one said he wasn't a HOF, but he was a cancer unlike any other player I can think of? so he had to wait 2 yrs? so he throws a baby tantrum JUST like he did his entire worthless career. Ask McNabb what he thinks of TO? His numbers I compare to Carmelo, worthless stats that never got him or his team anywhere. All he ever wanted was money and stats and that's what he got, AND THAT is why he isn't a first ballot. Randy Moss never won a ring, either. TO had a monster super bowl performance on a broken ankle, against doctors recommendations to even play in the game. Moss had a relatively quiet playoff run with the patriots. Is what TO did throughout his career as bad as what Michael Irvin did throughout his? Michael Irvin had to wait two years to get voted in also. Marvin Harrison had to wait two years, and he was involved in a shooting and may have been involved in that guys death after the initial shooting. Neither have near the stats TO has and probably arent first ballot hall of famers based on that alone. Irvin had multiple sexual assault allegations and multiple drug issues. And almost killed a teammate in the locker room when he stabbed a teammate in the neck with scissors. He was and is a jerk. Everyone agrees on that. Thats why he got snubbed the first year on the ballot. The hall of fame is all about stats. Every player cares about money. The media hated him because he was a jerk and thats the issue. The sports media is sanctimonious. Thats what it comes down to.

I dont like TO as a person. Hes not a guy I would want to hang out with. But, he has a very valid point on this hall of fame stuff. For example, how did these writers come up with this first ballot stuff? They have twisted it to where there are multiple levels. There is absolutely no reason why someone should get in on year 2, 3, or 4, but not year 1. They have found a way to make up BS and reward those they like, and punish those they dont like. Those smug writers can go to hell.
I put no stock in their hall until they start acting like grownups. Its a shame that another child, TO, had to point out their BS. I hate giving that guy credit.

And why are only six allowed in per year? If youre eligible and earned it, you should go in. I dont get it. Whole process is dumb.

who has the media kept out that is deserving? Too long a list to post. If you are a longtime NFL fan you can come up with 15-20 guys easily.

He's got a lot of former teammates saying he was an excellent teammate. Frequent problems with the front office don't mean he was a bad teammate or "destroyed every team he was on". I'm not a TO fan at all but I don't think that narrative is accurate.

Why would players vote? What are you talking about? I think he is saying Doug Flutie deserved to be in but the writers wouldn't vote for him. The players he played with would have voted Doug in first round if they voted. I think there is a lot of bad information on TO and a lot that hurt him to. Their is a lot for players who said he was a good team mate, their was also players like McNabb who didn't like him but TO was a better competitor them McNabb so they were bound to get into it. I think his mouth is the main reason he didn't make the HOF first time. I believe he was one of the best to play but would not want to get a beer with him, I just don't like him but on the field he did make his teams better. I do not believe the Eagles would have made it to the super bowel that year without TO. He just tore apart to many lockers rooms with the in fighting. I would have voted first time for TO as long as I didn't have to meet him

He is pretty much an idiot and it is only about him, he was not a good team mate, team mates do not split locker rooms, I was wanting them to hang a sheet over his bust, put a sign up that reads " one of the greatest " no shows.
