Lake Fork water level is currently 401.72 and water temperatures have been between 84 - 86 degrees. Overall Lake Fork has been fishing solid though when these fish are suspended, they can be a little tough to catch. I am starting out my mornings fishing in 12 - 14 feet throwing a drop shot, Carolina rig, weightless fluke and a big worm. These are primarily the only baits I have tied on and I am fishing them throughout the day and evening. - Drop Shot - #1 rigging hook and a 5/16 oz weight. I am using a 14 inch leader with a finesse worm (Tomato). - Carolina Rig - #3 rigging hook 1 oz weight and 5 leader with a 10.5" Ol' Monster (Junebug). - Weightless Fluke - #3 rigging hook ( White Pearl/Disco Violet) After 9:00 a.m. I am heading to the bridges and have been catching some good fish either schooling or suspended around the cross-members. When the fish are suspended, the cross-members provide structure to fish - It's almost like catching them out of the tops of trees. #dropshot In the evenings, I am able to head back out to 15-22 feet to fish the points and roadbeds where the fish are starting to set up right for me. The main thing is, I am having to run a lot to stay on fish. Hope this report can help y'all catch a few. Thanks, E - 972 757 7947
