Great pic.
One thing I wonder, is that hard on the fishes jaw? I remember a few years ago , catch and release advocates said the old thumb grip of the jaw, holding the fish vertical would dislocate the jaw and cause the innards of a heavy bass to drop down inside the bass. I notice these days folks hold em horizontal, supporting their bellies, but take the lower jaw and crank way down on it. Kinda like the cover photo. Just wondering.
