Went out to the lake early Monday morning at mustang. Water level had dropped a lot. Ramp was getting shallower. just checked the water level today. it is 7.33ft low. Good chance that we will not be able to launch at mustang soon. does anyone know at what water level we will not be able to launch there. Is mustang the deepest and the last one to go.

When mustang gets non useable. We used to launch off the end of the point. Just go past the ramp and down to the left side.

we used to launch at Rocky Creek several years ago when the lake got 10' + below normal. I think it is back open again its just takes longer to get there since the toll way

I may be wrong cause its been a couple years since I been to benbrook. But mustang is good to around 10ft low. Or best my memory serves me.

What I have noticed is mustang is the last park to close. When it gets to the point where mustangs ramp is no longer usable they will close the park.

They will not close the park they will just close the ramp down.

I talked to and watched the corp of engineer employees wade out to the end of the boat ramp for depth measurement last weekend. They measured 4 ft of water and said they will shut it down when it is 2 ft. It dropped a foot since then so I am thinking this is probably the last weekend.
