I do very well with the 4" black w/ chartreuse tail by BassPro. I'll catch things on that worm when nothing else it biting.

ZOOM ol monster Junebug red for low light/night fishing, Watermelon magic and Green pumpkin magic for brighter days.

I rig these for slow fall. 1/8 tungsten, 4/0 Owner straight shank XXX hook, 5MM glass rattle in the arse of the worm.

If you own an NRX no need to use a lure just a hook and sinker will do

I do exactly this and also use 7 inch power worms and Zoom ole monster worms for texas rigging. I drop shot Zoom finesse worms as well as Zoom trick worms.
