I drive a truck so I rarely check. I might look at the total when the pump goes click.

Ditto. I use the same station 99% of the time. Figure the law of averages works out in the end.

So it uses gas broken down in the driveway?

I buy gas sort of like I buy beer. When I am running low I go to the nearest place to get some. I won't drive 10 miles to save 5 cents per gallon. Nor will I drive 10 miles to save two dollars on a thirty pack.
