Not really much need for use here in TX but when fishing say like out west in wilderness. What brands and experiences have y'all had?

Several posts compare different rafts plus other info. There are many possibilities depending on your specific travels and priority ranking of features you need.

Lightweight float tubes are better suited to the fishing aspect and can be used for some situations where a little more weight can be tolerated.

Lightest fishing float tubes with backs are the Wilderness Light, and the Air Craft about 4#- hands are free for fishing.
