I have a pair of "Soft Science" fishing shoes and really like them but I still end up in the flip flops during the summer due to the ease of getting into them, coolness and poor look of the traditional fishing shoe with shorts on. Anybody care to steer me into a cool in the summer, nice looking with shorts and simple to wear shoe? Thanks in advance for your help. John

SoftScience makes Flip/Flops too... FYI
the Columbia PFG drainmakers are pretty good:

This is my second pair of Columbia Drainmaker's and the newer ones are much better than the 1st ones! Columbia I also have some Keen Uneek's that are nice as well but I prefer the Columbia's for fishing and the Keen's for afterwards.

Thanks guys. The Soft Science are really nice and are very similar. I also have a pair of wading sandals from Simms. I'll look at those Columbias and Keens next time Im at Cabelas.

Crocs, barefoot, or Muck boots. Depending on the weather of course.

I wish I could find some that have a sole that is smooth so as to not hold sand and debris so much as the ones with the molded lug patterns.
