When it comes to senkos... I feel like color rarely matters.

It looks like you are from NY, where from what I've read, there are a lot of leeches. Aren't those black? Everyone replying to your post are from Texas where the water and ecosystem are different. I'd say if you catch LMB on black, then keep throwing black. If you have a bunch of different colors other than black, I'd suggest you post in the trading section and offer up those colors for trade for black. The only time I throw black is at night or really muddy water. And in those situations, I usually don't throw a senko because I want more movement/vibration in the water.

Depends completely on water color. I fish all over the country and regardless the bait the four staple colors are always Green Pumpkin, Watermelon Red, Junebug, and Black with Blue Flake. When it comes to stickbaits and flukes, I have added White and Black to the arsenal and have had really good success in the right conditions. Now there are always that "Secret or Special" color for every lake you go to that the locals swear by, and they usually aren't wrong, so I keep a couple bags of those colors in the box when I'm on those lakes. A good example is Junebug Blue Tail on Lake Toho in Florida.

I always start with WM red then adjust if I'm not getting bit. My color choices are pretty basic too. WM red, green pumpkin, black with blue flake. Thats about it.

Daytime, I usually stick with watermelon/red or black, or green pumpkin/black in clear-to-lightly stained water. At night or muddy conditions it's black/blue flake or junebug. If they're feeding on shad, I like a light color like pearl or white with black flake - just throw it in the middle of a bait ball or surface boil. And if they are feeding on craws, throw a color # 956, it's a watermelon/copper and orange/red laminate. (I have at least two dozen other colors too, so I have options LOL) I throw the original Yamamoto Senko most of the time, the only other ones that come close are the Chompers Salty Sinker or the NetBait Salt Lick

Watermelon Red, Black Blue.. Chartruese Pepper.. in no particular order. I like Dingers but fish several different brands of stick baits.. I buy whatever color I need by whoever is on the shelf. They are all pretty good.. but an original Senko is the best.
