that is the question.
What's the best shot for getting into crappie this weekend on Lavon? Shallow or timber?

I caught 12 in the shallows the other day. (thrus) and on wensday caught 15 in 3-5 ft. Someone I talked to someone who did really well fishing timber in 4-6 ft. The people around me on those two days were also catching them in the shallows. I would say a mix of both. Caught mostly females, with some nice males. 1/2 the females were ready to lay the other halfs eggs were still blood vessled up and not yet ready.
