Good Lord....every time I'm sure you've ran out of things to complain about you come up with something else.
Here is the deal I doubt Wal-Mart is going to, or has the right to, use force to detain you for politely declining to show your receipt.
However, you are on their property so they certainly have the right to ask you to see the receipt. And if the grumpy, old man on the scooter consistently declines they have the right to deny you service in the future. Also, you are sitting on a scooter, take the 30 seconds and show the receipt. I could maybe see your point if you were on a walker or had a cane and they were delaying you from getting off your feet.

Simple answer, go to Target if you want the things they have at Walmart but also want a better experience. Don't know if they have one in your area Gpa, but they are much nicer. I dont have a man bun and the wife doesnt wear yoga pants.. I dont think we will fit in at target..

How hard is it to show it to them? No profiling, not hard to show receipt....the point he is making is being missed by so many! Our Walmart checks receipts at door during very busy times such as Holiday shopping. It always bothered me because of the "principle" of the action. But I suppose we can compare it to random law enforcement traffic checks where you have to stop and show drivers license and proof of insurance. An inconvenience, but not a big deal....just the principle of "no trust" when dealing with mostly honest people! Then don't shop there. I don't...duh! These social media forums can be hilarious at times....if you actually read my post, it states they only do it around the Holidays....I don't go there for Christmas shopping!

If you are not a shoplifter, then you don't have anything to worry about. Just show the dude your receipt and move on about your day.

Grandpa did this [censored] you off more than the time you had to pay $156 for a rack of ribs at Hard 8 BBQ? Quit lying. I was very surprised that a partial rack of ribs cost $36. Never in my life had I paid that. Such for a single meal. It was at a TFF Christmas party to collect toys for Christmas. It was the first time I had tried to meet some of the other members. It waa a good experience overall.

Grandpa did this [censored] you off more than the time you had to pay $156 for a rack of ribs at Hard 8 BBQ? $156 for a rack of ribs is pretty steep. Dang G-Pa I'd have walked away and told them to keep-em. Got more money than me! I couldn't afford it.

Ok, we need a volunteer to try a little experiment. Next time shopping in Wal-Mart and someone asks to see your receipt on the way out the door give them a shocked look and run like mad.
