Better get the 180 C with a 115. Its 18 feet 9 inches. 17 going to be small. They will get you a 10 year note. $100 and something a month and $500 a year insurance. Good luck.

The money is not the big deal--storing it is. I have to be able to fit it in my garage with my wifes car or she uses her veto power and the whole deal goes down the tube. I do agree though-- My dad has the 189 and its a modified tunnel hull--alot of fun to fish out of on the coast.

Detachable tongue trailer. Get the boat you want or you
will be trading up in a couple of years. I wanted the 22 but I bought the 189 , Now I have the 22.
The 24 would be nice . smile

ensignjason, better listen to blue wave mike. you will find the 170 too small. I have the 189 classic. It is a lot more boat, especially in rough water. Check and see if the detachable tongue will let you get it in the garage.
