Call your agent. They should supply an adjuster who will look at it and tell you if it qualifies. If it doesn't qualify you won't have to pay for a mechanic to look at it.

never had to deal with anything like this on a boat when it talked to them they told me to find someone to look at it that why I was asking

When I bent my prop shaft on mine I had insurance with Progressive through Worldwide Marine. I called Bob he said to take it to a shop so I took it to Rockwall Marine. Bob called Progressive, they had an adjuster come out two days later when Rockwall had it tore down, two days later they had the check, and went to work.. Easiest experience I've went through when dealing with Insurance claims. Tommy and John actually everyone at Rockwall are top notch and will always get my service.
