wow, nice fish. Did the map and info give you tips on how to fish the area or different techniques to try? Need to get him to map out some of Toledo bend for me. Congrats He gives you a complete write up with how to fish each location and even gives you the trail line the boat should be on and the spots you want to cast to. I had Donald do a write for me and was blown away at the amount of detail. The only reason I don't have a success story for it like these other guys is because I simply haven't put in the time to use it.

This^^^ Ive had him do several lakes for me and here are some lessons Ive learned. 1) Dont expect every spot to have fish. Its not a miracle cure for catching. It simply breaks a lake down and gives you several high percentage locations and a strategy on how to fish them. I use his map work until I figure out whats working and repeat it all over the lake. 2) The map work REALLY cuts down the time it takes to figure out a new lake or one you havent been to in a while. All these guys who post about going to a new lake and need pointers should really invest in Mr. Harpers map work. It would definitely increase their chances of a successful trip. 3) Confidence. Often I see what he suggests is in line with what Im already doing. I tend to not second guess myself as much in those situations.

Back in December of 2017 Mr. Harper did some map work for me for Lake Fork. I caught this one the first day using it. It's my PB at 10.96.
The proof's in the pudding...
That's awesome, get a map, follow his instructions, and get a PB?? That's sounding like a winner. Congrats. I'm still looking for my first 10 pounder.

It's about eliminating dead water, and timing. All those spots seems to be good for holding fish at one time or another. It's just a matter of probability. He told me that the 20 spots will yield maybe 3 good ones. If I get that, I'd be thrilled for what I paid for his immense amount of work that he puts into it. Tim

Nice testimony to Mr. Harper, and a nice video sans music. Congratulations for your new PB! Phototex, thanks for the note. Help my understand your comment "nice video sans music". I think this means you didn't like the music? I struggle with having music that's not disruptive to the video, but that's good feedback, and I appreciate it. Tim

Mr. Harpers jigs, spinners and a chatterbait that I got from him are second to none! I only have the nightcrawler and minnow scents, but they seem to put fish in the boat! Been too hot for me lately, but when it cools down(October) with the tips lures and scents I have, I Know it will be a great fall and winter! Wait and see what he is doing with his mapping! It'll blow you away!!!!

I'm embarrassed. The music you used is just fine as is. When I first watched your video, I didn't realize that my wife had turned off the sound. I simply was glad to watch a fishing video without having to listen to annoying music - to me, most fishing video sound tracks are horrid.

Dude, that looks like a new world record in that picture. Of course holding it that far away from your body makes it look like you caught it on a 3lb buzzbait! Sorry, couldnt help it! Nice fish!

Don spends many hours on each and every map assignment, and is pleasant to share the boat with as well. Looking forward to him coming back out again, and going on Giant Bass Hunt with me. Can't tell you how many guys get on the boat with his lures in hand. Don keep up all of the good work that you do for all of us Bass Nuts here on the TFF.

Busted. It does look huge doesn't it! Next time, I'll round it up to something more reasonable, not 8.5, but more like 18.5 Tim
