Had to work this past weekend so we made up for it yesterday. We headed out about 4pm it was crazy hot and humid but didnt let that stop us from doing what we love to do. We took some rattletrap knock offs made by Creme, they were 1/8oz.
We trolled them till we got to our crappie spot. It was the first time using them and we were amazed on how well they work. Within the first five minutes we caught 2 small bass and a perch.

Didnt get pics of bass we caught on the "rattletraps". Made it to crappie spot and caught 3 crappie keepers.

Leo caught a nice rio on a jig.
I also caught a warmouth that was 8in on a jig, they dont fight much it just laid over on its side as i was reeling it to me.

Leo caught this bass on a jig that was picture worthy.
We ended up catching 3 1/2 crappie, the half was like 5in, 4 bass, 1nice rio, 6 perch and 1 warmout. All fish were released to live another day.

Nice post and fish. Glad to see you got good results using lures. You and Leo have been nailing em all year long using your jigs! Always a good thing using different baits!

It amazes me how certain colors get the better results. Seems that any lure that has the color Silver,Gold,Chartreuse,Red,or Black on it will get good results on just about any water body you fish! Again nice post.

Nice post and a nice variety of fish! Totally agree on the color of baits. One of my best spinning lures is a Red/White Little George! Also during the trout season it's Gold and Silver Super Duper lures!
