For a cornmeal batter fish I like speckled trout.

I like crappie with stripers a close second. Fried in cracker crumbs salt and red pepper.

Freshwater-White Crappie
Saltwater- Blacktip Shark I was waiting for someone to say Blacktip. I fixed trout, red, and blacktip for my family. They tasted them all and liked the shark the best.
My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.

alligator gar 40-65 lbs are hands down my favorite fish!!
