I�d only been once about 10 years ago. I checked several of the docks in the deepest water I could but only caught one small one. I only found one area where I marked anything that looked fishy so I finished at the dam. Ended up catching 9 smalls in about 20 minutes on a Tx rigged zhog. Biggest fish was 16 inches. It was fun but it looks like I have 190 more fish to go before I can get a decent one.

I'm guessing 5'6" and about 230, but man you are ugly!  that fish is 5'10" and it ain't ugly. Lol.

I thought you had hair last time we fished.....I guess it's been too long, haha. When we going? Awesome fish BTW. been going almost everyday....somewhere. Just gotta ask. Today I just got back from Athens. Such a nice lake. Love throwing frogs over the top of the grass "stuff" on that lake. Never gets old seeing the big ones slurp it down. Today....I didn't even notice one of them. I was walking it and it just disappeared......the line started going to the side and downward. WHOMP!!!

Wax has some big ones in it. But for every one over 5 or 6 pounds, you gotta catch at least 200 dinks. Story of my life... EVERYWHERE lol... Congrats on a great fish..

It weighed 8.13 on a friends scale.
I was gonna say heavy 8. Nice fish.

It wasn't recently ......look at the date of the original post.....someone brought it back to life, I guess.
I haven't caught a big big one from there is months. Been fishing too many grass lakes. Frog hopping is too much fun to go skip docks and drag a c rig.

Steez you be gettin' a lot of mileage outta that old post. You oughta post some of those froggie fish you been catching. I haven't been taking pictures lately. Just weighing and letting em go. Caught two over 8 last weekend....biggest today was only around 4-1/2 pounds. ....but there was a LOT OF EM over 3 pounds today. If I catch a biggun tomorrow, on my frogs, I'll take a pic. I'm fishing my favorite lake tomorrow...in a tourney. So I will be all in on catching big fish.
