Water level has been dropping pretty fast for the past 3 months with BRA selling water down stream. Hybrid fishing around the island early morning has been fair. Catfish on rock points early morning and after dark has been decent. Crappie have been holding on deep brush piles. Whites have been on and off.

channels have been phenomenal all day and night...the back shallow trees and flats at night and the main lake shore lines...just have to find your depth blues have been great for many...I haven't done so well flatties...I haven't heard anything in a while I keep an extra line out to throw for sand bass and hybrids so I don't miss their bite...been a few good days Crappie were great until they moved back deeper...I don't chase crappie bass, carp, buffalo, and drum steal my catfish bait/or hit sand bass spoons occasionally...at least bass are delicious brim are in small concentrations around the lake...mostly by the bridge shad are everywhere and easy to cast net for bait

I fish it all the time. Don pretty much covered your bases. Spring is phenomenal for crappie, channel cat bite is always good, blue cats to 10# are real common under the white bass. Good electronics will light up when you find the fish. They always seem to be on the move! Good luck!
