My grandson was pronounced dead at 6:00pm Saturday...
Obvious herion overdose, it stopped his heart, he went 45-mins to 1 hour plus before being found.
Oxygen deprivation to the brain was the killer, they manufactured a heart beat after 30- mins of CPR.
3- days at Medical City Plano, in a catatonic state while family gathered for last respects...
I knew he had some issues, he was 25 yrs old to young to die, to young to listen to reason evidently.
This drug is extremely cheap, these kids can get high all day for 5 dollars. It's a bad situation for anyone involved.
My prayers go out to anyone with a family member fighting addiction...

Thoughts and prayers for your family RedSkeeter.
We are starting to see an increase in heroin here in Upshur County. My Investigators stay busy with crimes relating to both it and meth.
Drug addiction is a "beast" most people cannot beat.

In a roundabout way my first wife of 30 years died due to her opiod and alcohol addiction, prayers to your family RedSkeeter it's tough stuff.

Yeah, had an extended family member die from pink. Even stupider is he had a congenital heart condition he had been taking medication for and had been for years, and knew very well almost anything but pot could easily kill him. Did it anyway.

Yes. My cousin. He shot up between his toes so no one would notice. His mother found him bent over with a needle in his foot.

Lost a couple good friends to that and methodone. Damn shame.
