This is a bummer. 1 million gallons of untreated sewage got flooded into White Rock Creek today. It's headed down toward the lake. That's a nice stretch of urban wilderness. Not good news at all. https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/1-Mill...-486852391.html

Brown Woolley buggers and red tipped white ones should work.

It's pretty sad. My brother sent me a video of dead fish floating in the creek behind his apartments near Katy Jackson Park. I love fishing the creek and the views mountain biking Harry Moss Park.

There was a news piece on that about a month ago on channel 8. Said most of it was coming from Frisco I believe. Sucks

Was down there the last couple of days and NO Bass! Spotted a dead Bass floating under Plano Pkwy. bridge and the creek. First one I've seen there in years. About a 2 pounder. Sucks. Don't know what is going on..

Don't know what is going on.. The leak hit the creek just north of the George Bush Bridge. The Plano Parkway bridge would be at the top of the affected area.

Don't know what is going on.. Katy Jackson starts at GB, the dog park may even be part of it, and follows the creek south to Frankford Rd. I catch bass in the creek but further north on the Plano/Frisco border. I can't remember if there are any dams that would keep any infected fish from heading north. I'm hoping to fish when I get home this fall.

There is a dam at Legacy that would hold back the mess. I used to kayak there, don't know what it is like now.
