Anyone going? Got any ideas where to start? Been a month or so since I was there last.

Try mainlake points at North Park. Sloping points and dropoffs on the sides.

Chartreuse/orange belly crankbaits bumped off of submerged brush, watermelon-red or Baby Bass Flukes and Carolina rigged green pumpkin tubes.

I was there last night and it wasn't kind to me.

There IS some grass up 4 fingers on the right side. I got heuyied once in about 14 ft on a t-rig watermelon plastic. Only hit I had all evening. But, I only fished for a couple of hours, too, and never really moved around much.

Plans changed and I made a short trip to Mathis (Lake CC). Glad I didn't go to choke. Windy as heck! I managed 4 with one of them almost 3. Today was a scouting day at Mathis. There is a ton of flooded grass with everything holding next to the bank. I would like to have fished more open water, but the 30+ winds outside told me otherwise. I did find out just how well the new boat handles the rough water.

Going to the bay on Sunday!

Maybe choke next week.
