Is there anyone around north ft worth, flower mound, lewisville area that could possibly help me check my 1198 Humminbird? I need to hook my main unit up to a transducer that is for sure working.

No real rush on this, I just need to know what I have to replace, the transducer OR the main unit. Neither will be cheap, I'm sure.

Check in your menu that your transducer is turned on. My 1198 has truned off the transducer twice on me.

That would be a pain to deal with on a regular basis.
